Which season is it? This is the season of Economic downturn, many were sacked, many had deduction in pay, many were forced to take unpaid leave. If you flip the newspaper, you'll receive bad news after bad news. But this is also the time where we should sow even more, trusting God for even more. That is faith.

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
-Psalm 126:5 NIV

Many hearts were devastated, many natural source of income is destroyed. But still, many decide to cling unto God's promise. Many did sow in tears, thirsting more for God's miracle to shower upon them.

Thank God that my dad still retained his source of income, as a non-believer, his job at his work place. Although there's serious retrenchment and also deduction in pay, many were really affected. In the small company he worked in right now, i think more then 7 were retrenched up to date. However, the situation didn't improve, my dad was forced to take 1 week of unpaid leave every month, from this month onwards, causing his pay to be deducted indirectly.

My family will survive, because when one in the household is saved, all the household will be. My sister & I are the only believer in my family, and we really believe God for more.

So during the time of recession (known as the famine period in the bible), many jobs looked for me, instead of me looking deadly for them. I really want to thank God for his blessing. Many miracles happened in the bible, during the period of famine. Maybe it's because only til then, many would want to find hope, and hope is in God.

When God blesses you, He showers His blessings upon you.

I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.

For people who constantly seeks God, have faith in Him, this is not a season of economic downturn. This shall be a season of blessings, God will bless you in a unique way, definitely. There's only one verse in the bible that states that we can test God in financial matters when we tithe faithfully.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
-Malachi 3:10 NIV

Did God came true for me? YES! Definitely! The work I am holding right now shows the evidence. I thank God for asking me to test him in this area :D

I thank God for being a blessing to my friends in times like this. For my non believer friend, Jerry, I initiated to keep him in prayer. Now he got a job helping out in the upcoming IT fair. He thank me, and now, I am in the midst of helping him get a more stable job out there. Praying hard that I can help him get it! :D

Seized the opportunity for Bowen from my China boss, as he wants to get a tutor for his son in the area of English Language. When my China boss asked me about it, the first person who came into my mind that is eligible for this job is .. Bowen! Bowen came down just now for an interview, and he managed to get the job for $20/hr. This is seriously awesome!

Shawn is going for interview soon for his telemarketing job. I thank God that he is able to get job during this holiday. Still working hard to find a suitable job for samsam too. Thank God that He answered my prayers!

Well, I took courage to send Bowen an email, I hope he do reads it.

& also, I am going down for personal tutoring for the first time today, pray for me that everything will be smooth!

Who says God ain't real? Even tangible stuffs like wealth, God is able to provide you. Well, God don't drop money from sky, or passes you straight into the face. He opens doors of opportunity for you. Friends, it is up to you to decide. Believing in God won't short change you. All you merely have to do is to believe, and ask.
