busy busy weekend! sorry for updating late D:

saturday was busy busy. haha! but i enjoyed it :D

BIBLE STUDY
went for bible study in the early afternoon. chapter 2 of Christian Lifestyle. I'm progressing! really really thankful im back in the house of God, in this year 2009, im going forward! even if times are bad, distraction everywhere, i know that i would wanna try my best to move forward. because in the spiritual settings, you're only either moving forward or backward. i never wanna move backwards! at least im trying my best not to!

USHER TRAINING
went for my 2nd usher training after that. this time, karen is my trainer. im glad and thankful because she's my leader too! and she trained me personally. but the 3rd won't be her le D: she need to go for training too? she's awesome! and she still remembers mikki as an usher long time ago! LOL! i've got hands on! this time i took W3, the whole of it with shihui, a new trainee under layhwa that day, and layhwa as the IC! ahhh! had fun! learnt so much. they say im good! :D had my 2nd test, and i managed to score well too! cant wait for the third training, but this time i need to do external traffic le D: so paiseh lor. really really so happy when i managed to "fish" for people & they smiled as i usher them to the seats :D

MY FIRST BIBLE STUDY BOOK!
i'm so duper excited! Bowen passed me this when he saw me at the visitor's corner after service. i thought he wanted to lend it to me, so that i can photocopy the next few lessons. but he said, it's for me! FOR ME! :DDD whees~~~ after saving hard for building fund, adding on to tithing, im not able to save any extra for a book. no matter how cheap you guys think that book is, it's not within my ability to purchase it. so i thought i would wanna photocopy and bind it, although it's unwise to.

but but.. Bowen was hilarious too! he said this is a gift from God, and he's merely the FEDEX delivery man! make me wanna laugh and go diaos at the same time! really really appreciate it Bowen! mikki says we aim to finish by end of Feb! i will TRY to get the money then, for the next book! this year, i wanna go further, equip myself with the knowledge of God. Lord, you're guide me thru, i believe.


WELCOME BACK PEILING!
after fellowshipping with the rest, dinner and jalan jalan at JP, i sat the MRT from Boonlay all the way to Changi to meet up with Ah mm & Family. we went to fetch Peiling! she went for her 4months Poly year3 internship in Wuhan (China), and finally she's back! she changed, actually i not so surprised, because i read her blog :D but she's turning 20 soon le! whoa~ one by one so old le (x_X)
miss her so much! wanted to surprise her by presenting myself in the airport, but i cant wait but told her the day before. whoa~ finally back in Singapore le! saw Valerie too! she's there to fetch her sister, Vivian, which is Peiling's besties. but i didnt talk much to Valerie, perhaps long time no see and chat, a little awkward bahs.
kai is organising a Focusilate meet up soon. this time everybody can be present cos peiling is back! :D welcome back to the little red dot.

FIRST CG OF THE YEAR 2009!
we had CG today at sherrie's house! it's the first CG of the year! the songsheet by mikki is awesome too! we obtain our contact list card as well, designed and printed by jazz badi :D great job! a little disappointed by the dull atmosphere, glad that mikki smsed the people to encourage them! prayer in groups! :D getting our individual roles soon when mikki collate, but the names are seriously interesting!
really appreciate when Shaun make time for us! to fellowship with us! im going to make the effort to stay for fellowship as well! save at least $3 for a simple meal with them! Lord, please help me plan too :D
We're gonna get individual present for members for their birthdays! so that it would not be a pathetic ONE present from TWENTY of us. that's a cool decision. allows us to think for that person and spending effort to get the present :D

MY SISTER GOT BAPTISED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
my sister smsed me, exclaimed that she can speak in tongues right now! i was really surprised, amazed and really stunned for words! im really touched that she's right now committing to the Lord, thanking Shiok for bringing her to Church, thanking God that she's in HOGC, a church afflinated to CHC. thank God for making sense in her, but i know that she's able to grow. now that she's back in the house of God, Lord, please guide her thru big and small things in her life. she's able to excel, being the salt and light in WSSS. Lord, i thank you in advance. i was too excited, i smsed mikki immediately, and she says, this is only the beginning, which made my faith rise again! :D cant wait to see what God has install for us!

words cannot express my gratitude towards God, looking at how we grow spiritually. indeed, one in the household got saved, all in the household shall get saved too! Lord, im giving you grace for that! :D amen.

i cant believe that i've completed my stats tutorial for last week and this coming week. i skipped tutorial class last week. i understand those chapters, Lord, thank you for that :D im done with my PACC Lab. now i think i can be fully prepared for tomorrow's class. trying not to have monday blues.
