Broderick actually apologized to xin. xin didnt feel anything towards it le. i think, i shall treat it like a xiao didi talk crap bahs, since we're still working together to make sunday's event a success. was very disappointed when people i invited didn't reply me or didn't make an effort to come down. for some who are busy i understand bahs. afterall we're not so well known to worth that kind of ticket price. xin & sam also decided not to call their friends down le, even uncle dont let zr come last minute. well, at least i did my part by asking. PassioNaliseD also discussed about customizing our very own t-shirt, i think this will be coming up next when we are more or less stable. for friends who can make it on sunday, do come down to support me alright :D

school was alright, except the part that FOM PBL2 is halfway a progress & im very stressed about it. i missed one meeting, & jerry actually mentioned about the FreeRider (FR) thing to activate me in. i know he is joking, how can i possibly be a FR, but i strucked me too hard, i cant take this joke, i can only apologise. projects are important to me, being a FR is really too extreme. i wanted to use Asia Conference as an excuse to skip school instead of using school as an excuse to skip Asia Conference. but i realised i need to balance both side, with not much biasness because my exams are coming up. perhaps i can only look more forward to 2010's Asia Conference bah! D:

yesterday's session 1 with pastor kong as the opening for Asia Conference was awesome! i like the idea by introducing our church to those delegates or those new members in our church. well, it was an eye opener for me as well. expected pastor to preach a totally new message from what he normally would preach, & indeed it was a good word, just that the back part wasnt that easy to understand. today i skipped PACC lecture to attend electives with mikki, xuejun, samsam, sherrie, shenny, jeffrey & shenny's friend. im so glad that they are there. 2 electives i went, the most impactful one was the "choosing the right patner" i would like to share this elective sermon below...

CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATNER IN LIFE

Genesis 26:25 The Bible order is always in this order - God - Family - Job.
Genesis 2:20 God gives each of us marriage patner to help us and bless us in our walk with Him.

Truth: God does not choose your patner for you, infact He guides you.

How Do You Know If That Person Can Be A Lifelong Patner?

1. Physical Attraction

• Keep yourself fit & healthy
• Make effort to groom yourself

Proven Facts:

• People size each other up within first 3 seconds of an encounter!
• 55 Percent of the first impression we make on others is based on our appearance.
• Survey had shown that in job interviews, 75 percent of the decision to hire is based on our appearance. Not our qualifications or experiences!

2. Communication Attraction

• Communication is the basis of life
• Communication is the basis of life in your relationship

Communication is carried out in three ways:

1. By Word (meeting of minds)
2. By Gesture (70% of communication is by gesture)
3. By Spirit

3. Spiritual Attraction

2 Corinthians 6:14-15
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

It is IMPORTANT to have the same Faith! :D

impactful sermon! there's Q&A & shenny was brace enough to ask the pastor infront of so many people :D but i learned quite alot, although there're some bits & pieces i already know. thank God for that. what electives should i attend tomorrow? hmmm.

was very affected by the sudden squeezed in CIP on saturday which takes up 7hours of my afternoon. i dont mind having CIP this saturday, but im really affected by the timing. Benny Hin's service starts at 6pm at Expo & my CIP ends at 6pm at Boonlay, even if i cab down also need 30 mins. somemore im so broke now to afford a proper meal, let alone taking a cab down. if i were to reached there by train, it should be around 730pm or so when i reached, the service would have started halfway. i dont mind attending halfway, but im afraid that i might not be able to even go into the overflow room. sigh. should i attend? or wait for 2010? i know it will be really crowded. Lord, im pondering. i know i should not let money matters affect me, i know i really want to go, but Lord, what shall i do now when im penniless. even if i used up the little savings for your building fund, i dont think it's enough. the cab fare will cost at least 30bucks. ohmygosh! D:

im running with the time against the current. i wanna try my best to attend every Asia Conference sessions that i can. i wanna feel my Asia Conference notepad with more & more sermon notes! i cant wait for more & more good words that will change my life, that will bring my spiritual life into another level! Lord, please bless me with strength throughout these days im gonna attend the sessions that i can, im relying on your strength now! :D
