met up with cynthia & serene mummy. before that discussed some points with hangchi. sam tagged along today too! so i intro sam to hangchi. shaun was duper funny on the train. he passed me all his coins so that i can take bus! thanks! he claimed that he dont like to carry coins haha! had mac again. i mean we always meet at mac, serene mummy, cynthia, sam & i. from the beginning when we always meet at lot1, it has been mac til now == but serene mummy slimmed down le! she so busy with her work til now having stomach flu. gosh! shall keep her in prayer too! we chatted about alot of things. i love them as much :D they say i've changed, i thought that was good :D meet up soon alright! loves (:

THE VALLEYS OF LIFE
life is a balance of both good & bad times. imagine the weather is always sunshine without rain. the crops will die & the land will not be fertile. we do need some rainy days! because ALL sunshine & NO rain makes a very dry desert D: imagine you only have good times, how would you then, appreciate the goodness of joy? it is by experiencing bad times, getting out of it then you will realise how good is joy.
Galatians 6:9 : Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
ALL VALLEYS ARE PURPOSEFUL! God knows you're going thru big & tough times. sometimes you wonder, why didnt God helped you by removing it away? why hasn't He answered your prayer? it is simply because God has a reason for taking you through the valleys! they are not freak accidents of nature. God didnt place something so difficult that we cannot overcome, instead He placed obstacles within our capacity, because He knows we can overcome it with Him. God put us in the world, not of the world. you build Faith in the valleys of life because Faith is strengthened and developed in the valleys!
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GO THROUGH VALLEYS?
Psalm 23:4 (David says):
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil,for you are with me; your rod and your staff,they comfort me.
1. Do not be Afraid
some people has ostrich syndrome, they thought by covering their heads, nothing will happen because they are just pretending nothing happened
2 Tim 1:7 : For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
2. Do not be Discouraged
GOOD NEWS: You can choose not to be Discouraged! because it is a choice.
God always uses ordinary man to do extraordinary things!

Walk - Calmly & deliberately making steps
we should not take short cuts (LIE) thru valleys!
KEY: you need to focus on JESUS not on your CIRCUMSTANCES!
3. Draw yourself closer into God's presence
God allow temptation within your ability to appear in your life, but He gives us the strength & grace to overcome it!
We are NOT alone!
the valleys of life bring us face-to-face with God.
4. Rely on God's protection & guidance
"for you are with me; your rod and your staff,they comfort me."
a. a rod was about two-feet long... at the end of it was a heavy knot.
(normally use to scare wolf away)
b. a staff has a long stick with a curved end.
(normally use to guide the sheep back to the right path)
God is our Shepherd!
God's presence is so strong, it is the word of season to me, perhaps not very strong. because im doing spiritually fine now, just now too hectic with alot of projects & assignments piling up. i know i will walk all these with God my Lord. together we can overcome every obstacles. it is indeed a very good lesson, i will learn to apply in my life.
bytheway, before i forgot to post, i saw greg on our way home! initially i was facing him talking to xin, he's just any other guy that caught my attention because he has a nice skin tone, nice body shape, nice features, nice height & nice hair. everything was really in place, if you dont consider personality because i cannot judge that by looks. he is dashing i must say. when he happened to look up after his smses, he smiled & wave to me. then i realised it was.. GREG! that gregery that jojo used to like during the golden years == now he has changed soo much! gosh! i cannot take my eyes off him! i want to become more charbo liao lah! D:
saw gary today, xin's friend that waited for her for dinner at bp lrt. they came to my house after "seeing" me back haha! showed him the old neoprints & he said we changed a lot! then he came across caiyun's neoprint taken with me, he got a shock! they were classmates! ohmygosh! what a small world this is. i told him caiyun is my neighbour living 23rd storey, he was like.. cannot believe it too! we chatted about my friends in westspring & he happen to know one too! whoa! :D this world is small can! adding him on msn le. then i realised i havent add jianxiang also ==
i love my spiritual family. the powerpoint i did reminded me once again. i cant stop replaying & replaying. it's like replaying the goodness of God's love through them. mikki said that people who come to church with a wrong purpose will ultimately leave the church, because God will bring the truth out. it sets me thinking then, why did i stay? purely for God? what if im taken out from the cellgroup & place alone in church, will i then, be motivated & willing to come? my answer is.. no. then i realised, can cellgroup be of a wrong purpose? but xin told me that, God's love is shown thru cellgroup. yes, it is! it's nothing wrong for me to love my own spiritual family, to grow up there, to learn about God thru them! :D
im so glad, so glad that my good friends are all in church. we share the same purpose, same dream. we are always looking forward to stages. what will us become if God isn't in the cordship? cordship, to me, doesnt only work for BGR. it works for ALL relationship. im so glad that this friendship is right, it's God-orientated. because we are working towards God together. we might not contact each other, let alone being as strong as it is. i cherish PassioNaliseD, we've come so far, i believe we will continue walking together. same dream, different personality, same passion & same goal. i love you girls! (: thanks for being part of my life!
